sheila clarkeSeveral weeks ago I had an issue with my Cub Cadet mower and called Tommy’s Small Engine Repair. Since I needed it to be picked up I was called several days before the scheduled pick up date. That next day Tommy called to advise what was needed to repair the mower and the price which I thought was very reasonable and included a detailed list of charges. The mower was returned a few days later. That day I mowed but had an issue starting it once I turned it off and called Tommy after hours expecting to speak to the answering machine but he answered and suggested a way of starting it but if I had further problems to call and they would come back for it. I called the next day and Tommy suggested they pick it up even though I was able to start it with some difficulty. Picked up Monday and returned Wednesday with NO CHARGE for changing a spring that had nothing to do with my original issues. This was my 3rd visit to Tommy’s in the last year. Fall 2021 I requested pickup for service of my snow blower and a generator that would not start. Snow blower was repaired without issue but Tommy advised me it would be less expensive to purchase a new generator vs the cost of repairs to the generator I had. Tommy is a very professional polite business person as well as the rest of his staff. I would never hesitate using Tommy's in the future or recommending to anyone that needs repairs or service.
